With little garden space to work with, we really needed to pack some punch which what we had. As a home stager / interior designer, this lovely client had an appreciation for good design, so fine tuning details and materials was important. The house had a lovely feel - a bit beachy, a bit ‘Hamptons’, very soothing. We picked up on that throughout the various outdoor spaces, continuing the stone used on the house through to the water wall tumbling into the pool across textured stone cobbles, and also in the front yard with random stone plinths. The front yard worked a treat, is very eye catching, and is a welcome change from the lawn that was originally proposed, and which is used by most of the neighbours in this new subdivision. The vertical garden outside the kitchen window was a beautiful finishing touch, and completes the scene of green from every window of the house. Not bad for such compact spaces.
