Carport conversion

Sometimes an opportunity comes along that proves that small can be great too. The client of this project had been using her carport as an alfresco area for a while, and was tired of feeling like she was sitting in her carport. So we decided to make it so that she didn't feel like she was sitting in her carport. With some strata title restrictions on the project, and a fairly small budget, there was only so much we could do. Fortunately, we were able to come up with some great solutions, in keeping with the relaxed, 'lived in' feel that she wanted. We even kept the original concrete flooring, which saved a packet. A rug will be added soon to finish it off. But for now, she has a fabulous space to share with friends, and is spending some very pleasant hours lounging in her new oasis. Another fun project that left me with a big smile on my face, and a client that doesn't feel like she is sitting in her carport.
