RedBird Landscape Design

Beaconsfield

The owner of this new house on a subdivided property is a talented artist and jewellery maker. She was interested in integrating unusual materials in the landscape, including offcuts of industrial sheets of metal, a giant slab of granite that had been on the site for years, and old railway sleepers. After a personally challenging year for the client during the building process, the garden became a source of respite, her favourite spot for meditation and yoga, and the site of many pleasant hours with friends. And what a fabulous opportunity to experiment with some great materials!
